* Last Minute *
May 17th, 2010 at 12:23 pmLast week I had run into town to drop off a movie I had rented. While in town I get a phone call from Liz. She was wanting to know if I knew anything about the play Sophie was supposed to be in. I was like sure it’s next week. Liz said “umm… no it’s not next week it’s TONIGHT!” I was like WHAT??????? I said again no it’s next week. Liz said “Mom, I’m looking at the paper right now. It’s tonight.” It started at 7 and it was already 6:15. I had to drive back home, grab the girls and get to the school in time for Sophie to get ready for her part.
I don’t know how I managed to mess up the dates but I sure did. Thank goodness it was a very short play and there were not a lot of other classes to watch. All in all it was only about 30 minutes which I was very grateful for.
Here is a pic of Sophie in her “costume” She played the part of the Baker.

She did a really great job and I was so proud of her!
I also have a video of her little part in it. I wasn’t in a very good spot so forgive the way it looks. Also the sound isn’t the best because some of the kids were speaking very quiet.
I hope you enjoyed Sophie’s first stage performance.

How cute! I don’t miss the school play days though. Going to see my kids was fine…but sitting through the other 5 classes was usually LONG.

Was that ever cute!! My favourite part was Sophie’s, because she had the 2nd longest part, she remembered all her lines AND she spoke loudly into the microphone!! YAY for Sophie’s debut!! Please tell her I think she did a FANTASTIC job and I giver an A+++++++ and would have given her a big bouquet of roses if I could
